Gibbes Street
This alteration to an existing turn-of-the-century semi detached terrace includes Timber Slide, which was a finalist in the 2017 Australian Timber Design Awards. The clients were skilled "bowerbirds”, with a knack for collecting shiny objects. Their one must-have brief item was a circular stair and slide somewhere in the house. The result was a sustainable home with a wow factor. The staircase has since been listed in the Top 100 Stairs of the World, as voted on instagram. This could not have been done without the extremely talented Oscar Prieckaerts.
